So I’ve decided to start another blog… I want to keep my personal and portfolio separate. I don’t need a potential employer looking at my work, followed by a post on how I interviewed at another company 2 months back–just doesn’t seem professional to me. So, without further ado, the new address is: mdiluzio.wordpress.com. I’ve published a test post on there just to get a feel for what I want to go for, but it’s up and running!
I need to confess: this f0undingfather moniker is a recent addition to my digital life. For YEARS, I’ve always been known as “mdiluzio” whether it was my e-mail address, login name, even my xbox live account name! When I started twittering, mdiluzio was taken and I had been toying around with the idea of switching to foundingfather on xbox and checked its availability one day just for kicks. Well, it was taken so I settled for f0undingfather, which was available. I never did change my name on xbox (it cost money to do so and money is commodity of the luxurious nowadays), but the name f0undingfather stuck with me when creating my twitter account and then I felt that I should stick with the brand I had going when starting this particular blog. The point is…. uh, well I guess there is no point because I just like sharing what I’ve been thinking about on here. No, the point is that I have a bit of buyers remorse when it comes to f0undingfather. What’s funny to me is that my Safari web browser spell check suggested that foundingfather should be spelled with a hyphen separating the two words…. GENIUS!
A second update within this update! I searched for the availability of founding-father on twitter and I can only use an underscore, so founding_father is AVAILABLE… I think I will change it.. I just hope that it doesn’t completely reset my account. Let me try….
ALRIGHT! It worked… now to tweet about this blog!
