Hello all!  So this is my blog and this is supposed to be a little blurb about me.  If you’ve clicked on this, you must rreeaallyy find me interesting, hmm?  I grew up in Orange County, CA and still live there to this day.  As of me writing this, I’ve been working as a freelance video editor specializing in Final Cut Pro, but more recently have been applying for jobs like crazy to land a gig with a steady paycheck.  Why would I do that, you ask?  A few reasons: 1) it’s time for a career.  I need to know that I will be able to advance in what I’m doing and I don’t want to waste all of those horrible years that I spent in college on nothing.  2) My beautiful wife and I are expecting a daughter in about a month so my bachelor days of living paycheck-to-paycheck are over… time for some responsibility in my life because others depend on me.  That’s it, really.  Is this too personal?  I always figured that is what a blog is supposed to be–a journal of sorts.  If you want to know more about me, check out my first entry for this blog.  I’m trying to set the tone for what’s to come with that.  Also, social networking is great, isn’t it–facebook and Twitter.
